has gloss	jpn: 医療訴訟（いりょうそしょう）とは、医療行為の適否や、患者に生じた死亡・後遺障害などの結果と不適切な医療行為との因果関係、さらにそのような結果に伴って発生した損害の有無及び額が主要な争点となった民事訴訟のことであり、医事関係訴訟、医療過誤訴訟とも呼ばれる。広義では、業務上過失致死傷罪の罪名のもと、医療行為上の過失の刑事責任が問われる刑事訴訟の場合も含む。
