has gloss	eng: A born-again virgin is an individual who has previously engaged in sexual intercourse, but has made some type of commitment not to become sexually active again until a later time, usually until marriage. The term is most often used by fundamentalist Christians, particularly pentecostals and other members of the anabaptist group, to refer to individuals who have made a vow to God not to have sexual relations again until they are legally married. However, the term is also sometimes applied to individuals of other faiths who make a similar commitment to abstain or to females who have undergone a surgical operation to restore their hymen.
